What the actual FUCK, The Bloody Beetroots have teamed up with Jet (bloody, JET!) for a brand new tune titled ‘My Name Is Thunder’.

This absolutely insane track that nobody asked for was spawned when The Bloody Beetroots realised they needed a  “Nic Cester of Jet” kinda sound in their new track. So they hunted him down and did it!

The best part? They didn’t even need to hunt that far. Turns out Nic lives in Milan and getting some studio time was far easier than expected. A collab that was MEANT to happen.

Speaking on the effort with triple j, TBB said: “We worked together, ate together, drank together and created something very powerful together. Around this time the Jet guys stared talking and thinking about getting back together, when Nic shared this with his bandmates, the idea came up to have ALL of Jet involved.

Because of our different influences, we had different ideas on the mixing and from that, we came up with two versions. It’s the best of both our worlds!”
