Mookhi drops nostalgic music video ‘Lacunae’

Mookhi has been on a tear since the release of her Lost & Found EP and she’s just followed it up with a killer video for her new track Lacunae.

The track itself is a self-confessed mixture of new and old, with Mookhi explaining to Purple Sneakers that a lot of treatment went into the modern synth sounds for that “old, tattered, barely-in-tune vibe.”

The video follows a similar idea, using a bunch of iconic images from archival 33mm film reals that scream tattered and barely in tune, it becomes pretty obvious that Mookhi herself was the one behind it.

The tunes a bit of a cracker and is accompanied by a bit of a thought provoking video.

It comes ahead of an eagerly awaited EP set to drop in the next few months. In the meantime you can check it out below and see her at the Women In Electronic Music Showcase.
