Imagine laying on Tulum’s beaches on your well deserved 4 week holiday with the only worry being what cocktail you should be drinking next. That is what Henry Saiz’s music sounds like.

Touring the world for the last couple of years playing live in a 3-piece band, Saiz has flown the flag for everyone who likes their music balearic with a hint of drama. Though his Natura Sonoris label he has released music by acts like recent Australian tourist Third Son, Ellum Records and regular Maceo Plex collaborator Shall Ocin, fellow Spaniard Dosem and many more.

Last year he also made headlines with a unique kick-starter project to travel to 10 unique places in the world to record 10 tracks, with some of the ideas including “recording synthesizers inside the Great Pyramid in Egypt, traveling to Tokyo to create a track with a virtual singer, composing a theme during a psychotropic trip in the desert of Joshua Tree, playing drums inside the volcanic caves of Lanzarote island or collaborating with a Maasai tribe on a jam techno session…”

With a goal of reaching €62,000, he went on to smash that by reaching €73,708… nice.

 

Now the producer has teamed up again with Aussie brand Balance to present his latest project, a 2CD compilation featuring exclusive tracks from his Natura Sonorous label. This will the second time Sazi is teaming up with Balance after he compiled their 19th edition in 2011, a release which many consider one of the series finest moments, and he will follow up recent Balance releases from Patrice Baumel and Alex Niggeman.
