Every partied under a solar eclipse?

Announced as one of the most anticipated events of the North American festival season, Oregon Eclipse Festival plans to salute the sun during August’s total solar eclipse. The surreal setting results from a major promoter collaboration with Bass Coast, Envision, Hardra Trance Festival, Noisily, Ometeotl, Origin, Rainbow Serpent, Re:birth, Symbiosis Gathering, Sonic Bloom & Universo Parallelo (that’s a massive party).

Described as an ‘immersive environment’ the festival stages will be journeys through sights and sounds all under the stunning solar event. The stages are stacked, led by Eclipse which hosts Bassnectar, String Cheese Incident, Sound Tribe Sector 9, or Cocorosie. The House and Techno haven Sky Stage will get tech with Max Cooper, Damian Lazarus, Justin Martin, the Desert Hearts Crew, DJ Tennis, and Patrice Baumel, or deep in the much talked about Sun Stage with psychedelic legends Perfect Stranger, Ace Ventura and Raja Ram.

Over 300 artists will also perform on the ground-shaking Moon Stage with EPROM, The Gaslamp Killer, Emancipator, and Bleep Bloop, at the downtempo driven Earth Stage with Dirtwire, Govinda, Phaeleh, and Random Rab, the globally inspired Silk Road with the sounds of Nicola Cruz, Goldcap, and Sidecar Tommy.

The psychedelic lineup paired with the cosmic atmosphere puts this one at the top of the list for festival season. If you’re up for a trippy journey through electronica, secure your spot now.
