While the last three years of their career has been a gradual change from straight up disco to more funky house, what hasn’t changed in that time is the ability of Midnight Pool Party to get you moving. Their latest single, ‘Waiting’, is no different.

It’s all very chill to begin with. Some smooth piano leads and breathy vocals about waiting around for someone to love are already incredibly infectious as it is. Once the track pops though, and the synths come in with a chopped up vocal sample, it becomes obvious that ‘Waiting’ is a track that’d fit right at home on any dancefloor over the Summer. It’s the first taste we’ve got from their next EP ‘Dalliance’, which has been co-produced by Luke Million – so you know it’s gonna be good. The boys are super stoked to be working with Luke, and couldn’t help telling us all about it: 

“We’ve worked with Luke a few times over the last couple of years and he has been a massive influence on us. That made it an easy decision for us when deciding who we wanted to work with us on our debut EP. He understands where we’ve come from, as well as where we are going artistically.”
