It’s hard to believe it has only been three years since Tchami graced us with his first official release under Brooklyn’s finest, Fools Gold. The formidable Parisian has since paved waves with his distinct flavour of future house and now holds status as a consistent headliner at festivals around the world.

There is no question Tchami’s rise to the heights of electronic music was quick, (not dissimilar to a vast spectrum of electronic producers), however there is undoubtedly an industry recognition of his particular production style and prowess. Grooming through his discography you will find his writing credits on the likes of Lady Gaga, Dj Snake, Major Lazor and many more.

As a garnish on his already long list of achievements and accolades, Tchami will be making his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix debut this Saturday. Playing BBC’s Essential Mix has become somewhat of a hall of fame achievement in modern electronic music, and Tchami’s turn has arrived.

We anticipate a tip of the hat to his soul-driven vocals and BIG future house vibes, but as is the nature of BBC’s Essential Mixes, we can expect something special.
