We are stoked to premiere the second EP from Sydney two-piece, RUINS.

Titled ‘Shallows’, this latest project comes via Sydney imprint Never Slept and is in the form of 3 stellar original tracks with accompanying reworks from Grasps_, Simpig and Beach Club & Relic.

RUINS – the team of Sarah Tonkin and Pip Dolan – began in 2015 when the two started making music on the side of their Audio Engineering studies. From there, we were delivered a breathtaking EP in late 2015 with ‘Hounds’, a stellar effort that was released on Wu-Xi Records – home fellow tastemakers such as Swindail and Enschway.

Fast forward nearly a year, RUINS have been working hard on developing their production style and honing a broad yet unique sound.

‘Shallows’ promotes their musical evolution perfectly. Each track is a dark, brooding piece that blend perfectly as a unified project, creating an eery yet exhilarating narrative for the listener.
