The brand new techno festival that is set to grace Sydney and Melbourne the first week of this December has announced it’s first-round lineup.

Heading the bill is none-other than Chilean-born Ricardo Villalobos. Regarded by critics, peers and fans alike as one of dance music’s most influential DJ’s since his first release in 1994, Villalobos has created an empire for himself in minimal techno.

Joining Villalobos on this finely curated lineup is Matthew Dear’s looming techno alter ego, Audion. For the first time in seven years, Audion will return to Australian shows for Tell No Tales to deliver a dark, brooding live performance.

Rounding out the lineup is Berlin-based Pan-Pot, Ukraine’s Nastia, and Agents of Time. Full lineup and schedule below.

Tell No Tales, inspired by the European summer and their event program, is set to be one of the largest and forward thinking festivals Australia has seen for a while, and it won’t be one to miss. I

t’s set to kick off in Melbourne on Saturday December 3rd at Flemington Racecourse (The Nursery) and Sunday December 4th in Sydney at Royal Randwick Racecourse (Theatre of the Horse). Pre-sale tickets are on sale now, available from Ticketbooth.
