Electronic music connoisseur Giorgio Moroder has re-signed with disco imprint Casablanca.
The 76-year-old producer and dance music ambassador has returned to his former label with the murmurs of new music on the way.
Speaking with Billboard, Moroder said “I am so excited to share new music with you and to work with the Casablanca family. Casablanca from here to eternity.”
Brett Alperowitz, the manager of Casablanca, says “Giorgio is one of music’s most important innovators.”
“He ushered in a new era of dance music in 1977 with his groundbreaking production of Donna Summer’s ‘I Feel Love.’ It feels great to have him back with the label and we are looking forward to his next innovation!”
This comes just days after a royal trolling effort by Moroder, sharing a photo that displayed himself with the Marshmello helmet. Classic.
