This morning has been a good one courtesy of The Avalanches, who have just shared a hype video on their Facebook for their upcoming sophomore album.

The Melbourne outfit have been on everyone’s minds of late after their surprise inclusion in the Splendour In The Grass line-up for 2016, and now coming up to 16 years since the release of the debut record, Since I Left You, The Avalanches are confirming that their second album is upon us.

The video enlists the help from music figures such as Father John Misty, Danny Brown, Jennifer Herrema, Ariel Pink and Kirin J Callinan who give their own personal spiels on the band and the album.

So now that the rumours are confirmed as true, just how long will we have to wait for the album?
