Melbourne based beat-smith Super Magic Hats is doing everything right.

The eclectic, electronica producer has been a pulse on our radar for a while now, turning heads with a handful of blissful EP’s and singles of the past few years that have been stepping stones to his debut album, ‘Separation’, via Seattle imprint, Hush Hush Records.

‘Separation’ is ten tracks that take the listener on a journey through a fantasy world of nostalgia and euphoria. If you have ever seen Wreck-it Ralph, you may feel as though you are travelling through the video game portal when  listening to this album.

The technical aspects of the album are outstanding. The instrumental layering creates a magical culmination of sounds that ring off the chopped vocals he uses.
