Filled with light-hearted, lo-fi goodness, Sydney local Colourwaves, or Ryan Dodson, has dropped his video clip to go along with his dreamy effort, Night Boat.

The video, compiled by Kimberly Corday, flashes through warm scenes of camcorder-taped environments, including snow-draped roads, and empty hotel hallways. Flashes of filtered lights highlight the video, adding to the dreamy atmosphere.

The clip pairs perfectly with the production in Night Boat, as Dodson’s vocals spiral in and out over the vibrant synthwork, creating a euphoric and immersive environment which never wears old.

Night Boat is the second single off Colourwaves’ upcoming EP, due for release this month. The exceptional Sydney talent has already secured consistent airplay for his previous works on radio stations TripleJ, as well as FBi.
