Australia Will Have A New Vinyl Pressing Plant This Year!

Wax heads rejoice! Come December, Australia will have a brand new Vinyl plant.

This will be the first set-up in Adelaide under the watchful eye of Roundabout Records, who are building this Vinyl pressing plant as a way to assist independant artists getting their music on wax.

The press itself is a 1950s Neumann AM-32 fro New Zealand, a highly sought after machine that is looking pretty rare these days.

Roundabout’s Colin Forster says “I was the first one to get to Auckland… a guy jumped on a plane in Germany that night, and a guy jumped on a plane in America that night, and just because I got there first, I was pretty lucky.”

As said, the pressing plant will be in action come December, this year, becoming another name on the list of new pressing plants popping up all over the globe of late!
