The Mayor of Buenos Aires, Argentina, has banned electronic dance music festivals until their are new drug laws introduced.
This seemingly brash decision comes just weeks after the tragic loss of five party goers who overdosed at Time Warp Music Festival, Argentina’s largest annual dance event, that occurred on April 15.
The ban is a temporary solution for the city of Buenos Aires, that will be lifted once the Government devises a new legislation for drugs, The Guardian reports.
The announcement was made yesterday by Mayor Horacio Rodriguez Larreta’s, coming a day after one partygoer was released from hospital. Three are still believed to be in critical but stable condition, reports Fox News Latino.
