Arguably the most notorious brand in quality sound systems, Funktion-One is finally set to release their latest system ‘Vero’.

After six years working on their latest instalment into the Funktion-One brand, Vero will be launching April 5 at Prolight + Sound Frankfurt, and the expectations for this revolutionary sound system are through the roof, and for good reason.

Hardware wise, Vero will have the speaker arrays and Funktion-One’s patented Lambda flying system, however the software is a whole different kettle of fish. Vero’s software can calculate settings for each array – as well as the entire system – in order for it to be utilised at its best for whatever venue they are being used in, no matter how unique the venue is. Thats pretty cool.

Tony Andrews, a founder of Funktion-One, says “Talking from the perspective I have right now, just before we launch, I believe Vero will turn out to be one of the most important developments to come out of almost five decades working in audio”.

Let’s hope Andrews is correct about that one, and given Funktion-One’s track record, it likely will be the truth.
