If you managed to catch the new project THEY. from Zhu’s ‘Mind Of A Genius’ label towards the end of last year, there is no doubt you heard their lead single ‘Motley Crew’ – A stripped back trap-soul tune that is as dazed as it is uplifting.

 

Fellow LA-born, and now New York based producer Beshken has delivered an 808 bonanza with his flip of Motley Crew. Maintaining the original track’s vocal aesthetic and urban stylings, Beshken’s remix zips through with a bouncey drum and bass combination – creating something you’d expect from a (we dare say) Major Lazer x Frank Ocean collab. Keep tabs on the 19 year old producer, as he’s received some early love from the likes of Mad Decent and the Next Wave crew.
