Premiere: Siege – Yeah

Belgium’s Siege is the latest signing to Junior Sanchez’s NYC-based Brobot Records. Rooted in classic house vibes, the influential imprint has played host to Junior, Felix Da Housecat, Blaqwell, and many more since it’s launch in 2011. Joining the crew who injected Chicago’s sound into the streets of New York, Siege’s latest single fits in just right.

It was a fast 2015 for Sieg Motmans. From a release on Toolroom to high profile reworks for the likes of Rudimental and Charlie XCX, the name Siege spent lots of time atop the Beatport charts. Setting the stage for 2016, his release on the respected club catalog of Brobot Records hints the Siege will likely spend lots of time on the decks this season.

Pumping club kicks are just the beginning of Siege’s floor heater jubilantly title ‘Yeah.’ Enlisting the help of a jagged vocal sample notably found in Boys Noize’s 2010 heater, a building verse sets the framework for that booty shakin’ beat. Instantly pegged as the Chicago sound, this is the sustainable sound that will keep you going around the clock at summer events like Movement.

Without know much of what the next steps are for this budding act, I know that he’s a necessary catch behind the decks. Until then, be sure to pick up ‘Yeah’ out March 4th on Brobot.
