My 5: A-Tonez shares Top 5 Hip-Hop tracks of all time

A-Tonez is a well known name in the Australian nightlife scene, DJing for years and actually one of the first DJs I saw as a keen 18 year old back in the day.

For those reasons and more, we decided to kick off ‘My 5’ with A-Tonez, where we found out his Top 5 Hip-Hop tracks of all time.

You can catch A-Tonez on Friday night at The Met in Brisbane where you just might get to hear some of these tracks in action!

1.How High – Method Man & RedMan

One of the first Hip Hop tunes I bought on Vinyl, and it still gives me goosebumps when I hear it.

2. So Sexy – Twista ft. R-Kelly

Another one from my party archives Love Twista’s flow and this record is always fun to play

3. Guerilla Black ft. Beenie Man – Compton

I remember bumping to this in my first car still one of my faves.

4. Scarface – My Block

I’ve gotten a bit nostalgic with this list now, Just a sick feel good tune always makes me smile.

5. Notorious BIG – Hypnotize

Well no hip hop list is complete without some of the Papa himself
