Sydney bass producer Hydraulix is one of the most noteble names in the Australian scene, with over 27,000 facebook fans under his sleeve, and support from some of bass musics biggest names such as NGHTMRE, Boombox Cartel and Herobust, and appearances at some of Australia’s most important festivals including Stereosonic, Future Music, Breakfast and Defqon 1.
2016 brings us Hydraulix’s newest project: ‘Pray For Hydro’, a three track EP delivering straight-up bass fueled bangers, and featuring Snappy Jit and Brisbane’s own upcoming rapper September.
‘Pray For Hydro’ is bass-heavy and hip-hop inspired, and Hydraulix says ‘I drew inspiration from a lot of the artists and live show’s I’ve been going to recently. I really like a good, weird energy about the music I listen to and I’ve tried to translate that into this EP’. And you have succeeded, my friend!
