After gracing our shores at the beginning of the year  the boy’s are back with a massive essential mix on BBC Radio 1.

With their own brand of funky chords and thumpy basslines the mix is peppered with a heap of originals as well as some huge jams from the likes of A1 Bassline and Kill Frenzy just to spice things up.

With their hearts and inspiration firmly planted in the Detroit house scene even though the duo are born and raised in Amsterdam be sure to hear some Mo-town, funk and jazz influences throughout the mix telling Essential Mix;

“We spent about two days going through our record collection and we had to choose from way too many tracks! It was probably the most difficult thing we’ve had to do this year. We really wanted this mix to be a representation of the sound that people have come to like about us. So you’ll hear a few DS classics, a lot of new music and of course some of our own tracks.”

After being discovered by Huxley in 2011 the boys continue to kill it with their live shows, productions and the creation of their own label Heist Recordings were sure to be seeing more of the duo very soon.
