Love Taps “Gooey” remix has us feeling all Gooey inside

Love Taps, oh Love Taps. I first came onto this bad boy from their single, “Back for More,” via Main-course Records. I was then lucky enough to catch them soon after in Miami and oh, what a treat it was!
Love Taps’ music is incredibly funky and feel good. It has elements of house music, bass music but also crosses over into pop and some tropical upbeat flavours. I haven’t seen much around quite like it! We’re happy to be premiering their remix of Glass Animals, “Gooey,” which has been received incredibly well with support from BBC radio – TWRK vol 6 – Diplo and friends edition. WOW!
“We loved the song and wanted to add our signature sound to it as well as add a “drop” however, we didn’t want to take the song out of its character and make something that took you out of that headspace of those pretty synths and smooth vocal.  We also didn’t want to take away from the “band” feel and Self Help actually ended up playing live bass on the remix and channeled his inner Herb Albert “Rise” (The Original break from “Hypnotize”).   We were able to flip it while doing justice to the OG and keeping our unique sound.”
