Deadmau5’s love of automobiles goes one step further then his personal car collection and coffee rides with DJs and TV stars with the Canadian producer set to soundtrack a forthcoming hyper realistic racing game.

Dubbed ‘Project Cars’ the game developers have not only created what they are toting as THE most realistic game with over 110 tracks and hundreds of cars but pulled a few strings to have the Mau5’s tunes accompany revving engines and beautiful racing circuits.

The official launch trailer below shows the degree of realism and of course includes Deadmau5’s “My Pet Coelacanth” taken from his (1<2) album last year.
