In the lead up to two shows in the coming weeks for HOOCH and to celebrate Surface Tension’s first birthday, event headliner Conrank has pumped us a stupidly eclectic and heavy offering throughout a 50 minute mix to get you amped for them.

Hailing from Shangai, his EP ‘Danger Rank’ topped the Juno Download charts and his 2014 Saturate Records release ‘Exhale Therapy’ featured none other than DJ Shadow. His tunes have found their way into the sets of Buku, Gaslamp Killer and Starkey to name a few, he’s worked with Doshy, and he’s backing his tour up this month with a week-by-week four track release for hyper-based label Die High Records.

With the Surface Tension event happening at Perth’s favourite Ambar Niteclub on March 1, he’s also heading to HOOCH on February 27 before a Lab Six “In The Lab” live stream is announced later on.
