There is no stopping Slinger. After infiltrating BBC Radio 1 with his Prince bootleg, he made his charted debut with a remix of Pharrell’s “Brand New” and topped Hype Machine with a rework of The Kooks’ “Around Town”. Up next in his endless release schedule is a remix for French sensation, Stromae.

European in similar fashion, Slinger’s remix of the 2013 Belgian hit, “Papaoutai”, maintains the original’s dance aspects while staying true to Stromae’s vocals. The hyped up aspects Slinger incorporates allow for a more peak-time festival ready feel, but still give it a place in smaller LA and Vegas clubs. We immediately think back to Yolanda Be Cool’s iconic summer caribbean hit, “We No Speak Americano”.
