Permeating the wank banks of tech-heads everywhere, Kareem is set to drop a new techno EP on his label, Zhark Recordings Berlin.
Established by Kareem himself in 1996 (when it wasn’t as cool for every producer and his/her dog to have their own label) – the label was originally established to be a hub for experimental sounds. After 2007, the label went quiet and the techno died for a little while.
But everything comes around right? And what better way to come around than release a tasty morsel of terrifying techno. The Sky is Gone But You Are Still Here is an ambient return to the full-on techno it’s so hard to access unless you’re in the deep Euro underground (and have fought a large earring clad bouncer).
Describing the label as “uncompromising percussive hostility” – the EP is a simple and yet tensely atmospheric return to cold hard techno.
