Stereogum premiered it, and now we got it!

In anticipation of his fourth album next month, Scott Hansen aka Tycho released the first single ‘Awake‘ last October followed by ‘Montana‘ earlier this year, and now, he’s shared the third and final single before the LP release on Ghostly International titled ‘Spectre’. There aren’t many doing the chill game better than Tycho and Teen Daze at the moment, but we can easily note that these new tunes will be more instrumental and less ambient as on ‘Dive’, his last record released back in 2011. It shows his expanded sound with more natural instrumental – there’s even a guitar solo in this latest jam – but I suppose we’re to expect that seeing as he’s about to host a huge tour with a live band.  The track is still a beautiful slice of tranquil downtempo, and you can listen to it below. Keep an eye out for the album next month!
