SBTRKT has gifted the world with a new cut “Hold The Line” as premiered on Mary Anne Hobbs BBC 6 Radio Show last night.

The track is described as part of a ‘pre album instrumental ep series’ – something, that if follows the sonic nature of “Hold The Line” will be both an exciting and interesting boost of the experimental scene into the forefront of electronic music through 2014.

SBTRKT also added a personal message for Mary Anne to read on-air;

These tracks will form a collection of vinyl 12 inches before my next album and its singles, maybe a digital release too. they will be out in a couple of months. all instrumental stuff along the lines of the music I put out on ramp or the early young turks releases. transitioning between my last album and the next one.”

“Hold The Line” is just that, classic SBTRKT sounds in the vein of “Terminal” with the additional of writhing and happier chords with a slightly more electronic tinge.
