Sure, the Grammy’s were fun, but unless you’re wearing a robot mask, chances are you weren’t noticed too much. March promises Miami sunshine and dance music’s very own awards show, and with categories of dubstep to deep house, the IDMA’s are a time to shine for the best producers making waves in dance.

2013 was no doubt a positive year for it. Fans were educated and new genres emerged. The evolving world of electronic music seeped into all aspects of society. Big brands picked up small DJs shooting the industry to a new level. The IDMA nominees prove their stance as an emerging awards show. At the 29th running we see a variety of categories strung with a variety of breakthrough artists to today’s biggest pop stars.
