Idiots Bought and Reviewed Flo Rida’s ‘Beamz’ So You Don’t Have To

Thankfully Youtube DJs have reviewed Flo Rida’s ridiculous ‘Beamz’ product so you don’t have to. And yes, they look as stupid as the cringeworthy viral ad from earlier this week.

The concept itself isn’t too shabby, in theory ‘Beamz’ works like a midi launcher or keystroke controller that when particular lasers are crossed, triggers effects or cues samples from Ableton or other DJ software. The real problem comes when there is only ever four presets on at a particular time before the DJ has to load a new set of effects (twelve in total)… that and people look like the Karate Kids real slow cousin when using the thing ‘live’.

A couple ‘Beamz’ video reviews have surfaced so far, the slightly more serious DJEEENaaa who tries to take a more logical approach in running through the features and then the meme within fad, DJ Baby Chino, some unknown identity who looks to be Beamz official promoter who at one stage leaves the level down on the mixer so his sample doesn’t even play (0.55)!

Is Beamz the worst thing in dance music since Connor Cruises attempt at ‘EDM’?
