This week’s FACT mix comes from Manchester’s Trus’me.

Trus’me, real name David Wolstencroft, debuted in 2007 with Working Night$, a brilliantly constructed journey through house, boogie and hip-hop that FACT ranked among the ‘best albums of the decade’. Soon after, he established the Prime Numbers label which has provided a platform for artists like Linkwood, Actress and more, and has since released two more albums, 2009′s In the Red and this year’s Treat Me Right.

His FACT mix has been in the pipeline for some time now, and ahead of his appearance at secretsundaze x Go Bang!’s London mini-festival on Bank Holiday Sunday, August 25 – featuing Trus’me, Omar-S, Juan Atkins and Moritz Von Oswald’s Borderland project and a ton more names from house and techno’s elite – we’ve finally managed to reel one in. A slow-burning house and techno journey with just the right amount of frayed ends, it couldn’t be sounding better in our office this morning: Daniel Bell, Skudge and more feature.
