Just released by Above & Beyond’s famous Anjunabeats record label comes the first installment of their Alternative Beats series. The 10-track compilation diversifies their typical releases, crossing several styles of electronic music including dnb, dubstep, progressive house and Beatport’s favourite description, ‘electronica’. Featuring tracks from the likes of Calyx & TeeBee, Synkro, Seven Lions, Andrew Bayer, Dusky and more, I reckon this is one of the best compilations out so far this year.
