Didn’t get a ticket to the all-mighty Tomorrowland festival this year? Don’t worry Youtube will be streaming up to 7 hours a day across three days for Tomorrowland.tv!
Each days programming will feature live performances from back and side of stage, interviews with artists and content already being filmed showcasing the construction of the event.
The ‘first-of-its-kind live-stream-meets-produced-program’ will run live footage kicking off July 27th through to the 29th and will remain thereafter.
Patrick Walker, director of Youtube Music Europe told Billboard.bizz “TV is underserving music, particularly EDM. Online and YouTube have become the premiere destinations for the consumption of music videos. All of these things together, plus a dream artist line-up, made this seem like a very natural partnership.”
To put it in perspective last years recorded 14 minute ‘after movie’ has wracked up an impressive 43.2 million views.
