We heard yesterday that renowned producer/audio mad scientist Squarepusher will be bringing a new album out on Warp on May 14th. To be titled Ufabulum, the press release is pretty scant on any firm details, but there’s talk of “something very melodic, very aggressive”. Whatever that means, it will be interesting to see where Squarepusher’s sound is heading.

There’s also a live show coming at the same time as the album; some of the visuals in the teaser video below look incredible, so it’s set to be something that’s worth getting excited about. Shows are happening worldwide over the summer, so keep an eye out for more details.
