A statement issued for the Italian duo Crookers has informed fans they they will no longer be working together. Based on the statement, the project will go on, but as a solo gig. Who knows what this will mean for the coveted production that rocked stages worldwide over the past 8 years. Have a read to what they said:

Italian duo Crookers (Phra & Bot) have decided to no longer work together.
Bot is pursuing a new direction, while Phra will continue on as Crookers.

“After having worked together for more than 8 years now, the time has arrived to start exploring different directions.” Bot said.

Exciting times are yet to come and both can’t wait to show what’s in store for the future.

“We want to thank all our fans for supporting us from day one!                  Don’t be sad though, a new chapter is about to begin.”

We aren’t sure if this is an immediate fix, and will the show go on? The group is set for an Adidas sponsored streaming event in Rome next week. All of you people in the capitol will have to report back on how it goes. They have hit the charts on labels from Mad Decent to Universal. Loved by producers and fans, this a a sure loss to the music community.

Although ‘excited’ is the word used by them, we aren’t sure we feel the same sentiment. Dr.Gonzo lives in our hearts forever!
