Two of our favourite artists have joined forces for an upcoming film by acclaimed director Romain Gavras.
We are talking, of course, about Jamie xx and SebastiAn, who represent two very different takes on electronica that will blend together to soundtrack Gavras’ new film, The World Is Yours.
This is not the first time Jamie xx and Gavras have worked together, back in 2016 he directed the stellar music video for Jamie’s ‘Gosh’, which to this day stands strong in my top 10 music videos list. See it here.
We are not too sure what to expect from the two producers on this, however both have been known for their experimentation towards dance music so we can rest assured we will all be having quite the sonic experience.
The World is Yours is set to premiere at Cannes Film Festival this year, which is taking place from May 8 – 19. See the teaser from Gavras below.
