Ten Walls Reveals Debut Album ‘Queen’ Coming This Month

Words by Maria Wang

Lithuanian producer Ten Walls has announced that his debut album ‘Queen‘ will be released on the Runemark label this March 15.

The 24-track album is one “full of contrasts”, representing moments from his childhood through to now. Ten Walls says: “It is a story that covers various moments of my life as well as musical experiences. You can hear my favourite childhood fairytale, sounds of Vilnius recorded through my window, or some flashbacks from the spiritual lessons that brace me still. And it is music that leads you through the entire way.”

Queen’ features a host of collaborations, including singers Jonatan Bäckelie, Monika Liu and ALX, pianist Petras Geniušas, cello player Vytautas Sondeckis, bass guitarist Domas Aleksa, acoustic drummer Marijus Aleksa and string performers overseen by the conductor Ričardas Šumila.

The album comes three years after the producer’s best known single ‘">Walking with Elephants‘, and nearly two years on from his controversial homophobic comments which sparked complaints from the dance music community and saw him withdrawn from several festival bills.

Ten Walls will tour in support of the album, starting Europe in March. Watch the album’s video teaser and check out the track list below:
