You might remember Sydney dudes Midnight Pool Party from our premiere of their stellar single ‘Waiting’ back in November of last year. It was a near perfect summer banger, which has fit right at home on any floor over the last number of months, and the perfect tease for their new EP ‘Dalliance’. It felt so far away at the time, but that time has finally come.

Co-produced by Luke Million, the five-track release perfectly blends dance music and vocals, citing influences from producers like Kaytranada. Each track has its own clear emotional flow, bringing a feeling that many dance releases seem to lack. The boys gave us some words on that emotion, and the decision behind the EP’s name.

“The title of the EP is reflective of the playful but bittersweet motions of the ups and downs of relationships. From our first catchy bangin’ single ‘Waiting’, to our emotionally charged track ‘Collide’, we definitely feel as though we are taking listeners on a new journey with us.”
