Relive The Year In Aussie Dance Music With This Mix From FBi Click’s Sandro Dallarmi

It’s at the end of every year and the start of every new one that just about every publication and their nana dedicates a whole heap of time to making lists. ‘Our Top 10 Movies of 2016’, ‘2016’s Most Cringe Celebrity Moments’ – that kinda stuff. While these can get incredibly stale, one dude has taken it to the next level, mixing the 2016’s best Australian dance and electronic music into a stellar mix spanning almost two whole hours.

His name is Sandro Dallarmi, and you might know him as both host of FBi Radio’s ‘Switch’ – going down on a Saturday night from 10 – 12 and specialising in only the best local and international club tunes – and as the head of FBi Click. As one of the country’s most dedicated to our local tunes, it’s not surprising that Sandro’s mix is as consistent as it is excellently crafted. From Basenji flowing beautifully into Kučka and Dro Carey to kick things off, to Mall Grab bumping alongside Tkay Maidza, Sandro’s created an excellent balance between underground beats and chart toppers that provides something for absolutely everyone.

While we sit and reminisce on the beautiful year in music we had, overcoming a huge amount of adversity in the government’s approach to the art and the nightlife that supports its growth, there’s a question that remains. Will this become a yearly deal, Sandro? We certainly hope so.
