In the heart of Washington, DC, Echostage offers concertgoers a top-tier sound system and advanced LED visual displays, making it the perfect environment for any sort of bassy house music. This past weekend on September 18th, Washington, DC experienced sound of the afterlife. People always wonder what the afterlife looks like, but have you ever imagined what it might sound like? After making his way from New York and Philadelphia to the iconic Echostage, Tchami graced us with his pulsating future-house beats and took us on a spiritual journey.

Sporting his signature all black with the white collar priest look, and cathedral themed stage, Frenchman Tchami kicked off his “After Life” set with own remix of “You Know You Like it” by DJ Snake and AlunaGeorge before launching into his own original tracks. Halfway through the night, the lyrics to Major Lazer, DJ Snake, and Mo’s “Lean On (Malaa Remix)” were echoed throughout the building. At this point, the turn-up levels were at max capacity and there was nothing but continuous energy throughout the night as he dropped other fan favorite hits such as Tchami’s “After Life,” “Wizard” by Martin Garrix and Jay Hardway (Tchami Remix), and other tracks that Tchami put his own bassy, futuristic twist on. From fist pumpers to shufflers, the variety of tracks presented during Tchami’s “After Life” tour was music to everyone’s ears and truly made it a memorable night for all dance music attendees.

Tchami’s next stop is on September 26th in Denver, so be sure to snag tickets for this show or any of the upcoming dates that are listed below.
