As we hang out until Holy Ghosts! bag of nostalgia with the release of their ‘Work For Hire’ Remix Album that’s packed full of pretty much every re-work you rinsed from 2007 they’ve gifted fans yet another stellar remix.

This time they’ve taken on guitar-guy Jose Gonzalez and peppered it with their own Holy Ghost! spices.

From the vocoder’d intro you know it’s business time with a Kraftwerk-esque play on loops and patterns splattered across “Let It Carry You” which the pair explained the joys of remixing Jose;

“Jose’s voice is so good that it made working on this remix really enjoyable. We started it by recording new live drums in our studio in Bushwick, then added the bass line on the modular and chords on the cs80, and pretty quickly we were excited about where it was going. It took about 2 weeks to make and it was just really pleasant and fun the whole time. It’s the last remix on the album and it’s now one of our favorites.”
