OOOFFT does this original by Nordic duo, “Royskopp,” pull on dem heart strings! Second to the awesome title, is the enigmatic Aussie producer under the moniker, “LO’99’s” remix of Sordid Affair. After being blown away (understatement of the century) by Maceo Plex’s remix, I didn’t think it could get any better! And well now…it’s a tie. Both stood out next to the dismal Watermat version. #sorrynotsorry

Lo Ninetiy-nine’s remix is oh so deep, haunting and daunting. Unlike the original’s slow build, LO’99 drives the heat from the get go with a heavy house baseline and fastened tempo. While the original could be compared stylistically to something typical of the lords knows as Above and Beyond (or even Ilan Bluestone with those Chords?), LO’99 manages to tastefully heighten the energy, excitement and ante.

Maceo plex’s remix is  more dynamic and hi-hat orientated.
