FISHING – Nineteen / Boy Wunder (Swick Remix)

Suitably weird electronic duo FISHING (yep, shout it out) have given up a Swick remix of their blunderbuss, double barrelled track “Nineteen / Boy Wunder”.

Swick’s remix follows a collaboration with Triple J main lady Nina Las Vegas that we posted up yesterday and a testament that well, Australian producers RULE and that they all want to have a sound orgy together, I think?

Although a nifty 3:22 long it’s definitely got that I-want-more-vibe with me currently on my third listen. Plus with a return to DJing career (ha!) a real yearning to play this thing out and feel the crowd response from this fireyah.

Fishing give us the low down on it all;

“The original “Boy Wunder” was all party anxiety, like you’re after some euphoria but it’s faded and washy. So we’re super stoked that Swick’s version is an answer to that feeling. It’s like he says, “This is what you do with that melancholy,” flicks the switch to deep in the chewy club zone that he does so well and then you dance for real instead of just trying to rave.”

They’ll be reppin’ Australia at CMJ this year along with a host of other legends. As for Swick? Still killing it overseas as a Mad Decent signed artist and hopefully finding a bit more love back here at home, follow him on Facey.
