Many knickers were twisted when Pete Tong spilled in his Reddit AMA last week that on the way was an Essential Mix from illusive electronic powerhouse Joy Orbison.

Those tuning in to the BBC over the weekend would have caught the mix on its inaugural airing but for those a little slower or partying their pants off at Splendour in the Grass a stream has conveniently landed online.

Although stamping his foot down almost five years ago with his timeless original “Hyph Mngo” Joy’s still got plenty of flexing to do dropping a new one dubbed “Zoo Talk”, that untitled James Blake jam Jamie xx aired the other day, a Seven Davis Jr remix of Four Tet and a whole stack of white label goodies.
