Hailing from Istanbul in Turkey, Gantz credits his distance from the standard influences and music hot spots as resulting in his unique style. As a result, not only will he be winning a few bits in Dubstepforum’s 2013 Awards, but he’s also scored the spot of DEEP MEDi‘s first 12″ for 2014, the two-track single ‘Spry Sinister / Rising’. While the a-side is an equally enormous dubstep roller, the AA for MEDi078 sees him collaborating with Algeria’s El Mahdy Jnr to add even more individuality to this release – we see sheer brilliance from the two dudes unloading a powerful earthquake of rolling subs, awash in Eastern vibes through bleeding-heart vocals and Arabian drum timbres.
