Randomer makes fucked-up music to dance, tweak and sweat like a bastard to. His latest offering on Untold‘s Hemlock Recordings is no different, with the North Londoner said to have delivered ‘two iceberg sized hunks of pure stereo freeze’. With ‘Bring’ banging out knuckle’ead bass and skewed, Berghain-style organ chords synched with hardcore-style pitched vocal stabs on the offbeats, flipside ‘Curtains’ revolves around a heavy, monotonous sense of funk that’s been slowed down to 113 and dragged through hell. This shit is dark.
‘A slo-mo stepper’s cut that’s darker and sparser than George Osborne’s mailbox on Valentines. Cold.’ Indeed.
