This was most definitely conceived in Tunetown. Sure 1985 is a funky lil number but the Casio Social Club remix brings the heat with a bangin bassline. I must admit, I get weak at the knees for a fun vocal that I can sing along to that has the magic to transport me to another era and this does just that. It doesn’t have the fun choppiness of the original, but hey Casio Social Club promised to bring us ‘Back to 85’ and they’re doing just that.
