Disclosure ‘Settle’

After much anticipation following a series of successful EP releases, Guy and Howard Lawrence have finally finished and packaged their debut Disclosure album.

The album, which is titled ‘Settle’ features a select group of talented house vocalists including Sam Smith, AlunaGeorge, Eliza Doolittle, Jamie Woon, Sasha Keable, Ed Mac as well as UK trio London Grammar. As a natural conclusion, the guest appearances have enhanced their signature deep sound that has established them at the forefront of a new trend in dance music.

A common debate we have been hearing quite a lot of is, is the album two brothers making deep house or pop?

Our thoughts are, ‘Settle’ is providing the contemporary alternative to pop. It has a mainstream appeal made with a roots driven deep house instrument rack and insatiable vocals. Disclosure have lit a beacon that’s stood a great test by going closely against Daft Punk’s ‘Random Access Memories’ release date and truly showing that good music prevails!
