It was always going to happen though right? The current fusion of Dance Music and Hip-Hop has been spreading like butter on toast as of late, and after the huge success of the collaboration between ASAP Rocky and Skrillex, who wouldn’t wanna’ partake!

A recent Hip Hop DX interview with Waka Flocka Flame revealed that the Brooklyn based rapper has an “EDM album” in the works with the likes of “Flosstradamus, Diplo, Skrillex and some underground people” all featuring throughout what will hopefully be an impressive new record.

Waka Flocka was brief with the details, but revealed through his interview that:

“The King of Rap EDM is me. I’ve been there. Punk Rap, that’s EDM. People didn’t understand what I was saying, now they do. I see a lot of my students, I’m like the principal, I’m here to talk.”

“(The album) is already in the motion. Flosstradamus, Diplo, Skrillex. Some underground people, too. I want to create a name. I’ve been doing it in hip-hop so long.”

Cool, so with all that said it’s hard to determine how this up-coming album may turn out, but with a choice selection of collaborative artists as stated above, we have high hopes that it will be sounding good.
