Calvin Harris breaks UK album record overtaking Michael Jackson

Records are made to be broken right? Well the producer-centric Calvin Harris has overtaken the more naturally gifted Michael Jackson with the most UK hits off a single album.

The Scotsman earned an impressive eight chart responsive track-hits from his one album ’18 Months’ which he has been pretty much been cruise controlling since its launch in 2011. This means he has overtaken Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad and Dangerous’ album which featured seven UK Top Ten singles.

His most recent collaborative track to creep into charts is ‘Need Your Love’ featuring Skrillex’s ex-lady Ellie Goulding.

Charting songs for Calvin Harris include
1. Bounce (peaking at No.1)
2. Feel So Close (No. 2)
3. We Found Love with Rihanna (No. 1)
4. Let’s Go (No. 2)
5. We’ll Be Coming Back (No. 2)
6. Sweet Nothing with Florence Welch (No. 1)
7. Drinking From The Bottle (No. 5)
8. Need your love (Still creeping on the charts)

The Fly Eye Record label owner isn’t taking the whole situation too seriously candidly tweeting how little MJ would have known about sidechaining.
