Deadmau5 Has Shared A Brand New Rework Of ‘Strobe’

Arguably the most recognised songs in dance music, ‘Strobe’ by Deadmau5 seems to holds a special spot in all every dance music fan’s heart.

The original, 10-minute endurance track was released back in 2009 on Deadmau5’s ‘For Lack of A Better Name‘ album, and swiftly grew to become one of the most notorious releases from the Toronto based producer and larrikin.

It’s been a long time between releases, and Deadmau5 has certainly kept himself very busy since, but yesterday the Mau5-man released a brand new edit of Strobe via YourEDM, and it’s pretty much amazing.

The track is chopped and screwed up, showcasing some instrumental finesse from Zimmerman, before leading into that some familiar territory at around the 3-minute mark.

This nearly-8-minute edit is also free to download (find here) and comes ahead of Zimmerman’s eighth studio album, which is surely going to drop at some point this year.

Have a listen below and let us know if this edit lives up to the original!
